World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade for an item is an enchantment that increases the base stats of specific weapons or armor. This includes secondary stats such as Leech or Speed.

Leveling
Upgrades allow players to upgrade items by increasing their levels. The level increase also boosts the item's "guaranteed" bonuses. Each level upgrade gives bonuses based on the level and boosts the stat by a factor of 3. These bonuses can range from a +1 to +3 bonus, to a random buff or debuff.
Each item is limited to a particular amount of upgrades. However, after an upgrade the item is able to be re-transferred into a higher-tiered item which is of equal or greater value.
This method is extremely beneficial for players who want to obtain gear with a certain level of stats before they have the opportunity to obtain the latest item. The transfer system is very simple to use and allows players to save up on upgrades materials.
Upgrade materials can be collected by players as they provide clear content. They are then used to upgrade or replace an item. Each item requires a particular kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones, while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are changed to a different name. For instance, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
It is essential to upgrade items in order to improve a character's performance. However, it is also important to think about how much it will cost. Every time an item gets upgraded, the upgrade costs an amount of gold that could be better used on a new piece of gear. This is why it's best to upgrade the most essential items in any given situation.
This means upgrading the weapon, then the legs, chest, and helm. Upgrade trinkets in this phase if you have the money to do this. This will increase their potential for procs. Upgrades to a premium Throne of Thunder item may be worth it because of the damage it can cause. Once you hit your goal of upgrading to level 6 generally, you should roll down and find the best upgrades that you can or save for the next group of items. This will ensure that you have a robust lineup by the time you hit the level 9 upgrade goal.
Rerolling is a system that is similar to the leveling up system. Reroll tokens can be used to eliminate any Level Up option and replace it with another. Reroll tokens like Level Up do not reset an item's level. This means that when you reroll an upgraded item, it won't be at the same level, and will not have its bonus.
Players can also use an additional mechanic, Eliminate, to remove any Level Up option they have on their weapons or equipment. This is beneficial when you've lost a gacha or want to reroll an item that has five stars. You will need to create your own account or sign in via social media.
Similarly, there is an Occultist in every town that can be visited to alter a weapon or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is helpful if you are looking to improve your epic five-star unit, or when your four-star elite character is causing you problems.
Another method of rerolling an item is by using the rerolling tokens obtained by completing quests. They can be bought from the Occultist for 300 gold or you can find them in the holozon containers that are dropped after the completion of certain dungeons. You can then change the roll of any weapon, armor, or ring by moving the icon with the lock to the desired slot on the page of your unit's.
Sets
A set is a set of items that share some similarity. Sets are frequently used. For instance an egg dozen or a group of friends. They are useful for organizing things and using operations such as intersection, union and differences to manage them effectively. Sets can be utilized in a variety of ways, including organizing music on a list of play lists or dividing students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game uses Sets to create special effects when players wear armor from a particular armor set. These bonuses, referred to Set Bonuses, are similar to and sometimes superior to Effects. While it isn't explained how the armor sets need to be worn together in order to create these effects they are a good method to alter the game when playing the game. The armor sets that come with Set Bonuses are available in various locations throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are associated with each piece of equipment that is part of a Set. The tooltip at the bottom of the item will tell you which Set Bonuses are offered. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box that has the red border.
Some of these Set Bonuses are specific to a particular piece of equipment. If you equip the entire Phantom Armor set, you will receive +8 defense (instead of the +3 defense that you receive with the majority of gear). Other sets can only be obtained by completing certain quests or by purchasing them at the Auction House.
It is also possible to obtain Set Bonuses on multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. If you own the entire Kestra's Descent Set and the matching parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will be able to get the version with the + set's bonus, if you match them.
In contrast to Effects, which change each time you upgrade them, Set Bonuses remain the same even as the individual pieces of equipment they're connected to rise. However, if an item is exemplared to levels that are not enough, the set bonus will cease working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects that can be found on an item set, and provide an advantage to the player in combat. They grant a specific amount of a particular type of stat, like weapon damage, or defenses, or resistances. However, they do not stack; only one can be active at any given time. The amount of a certain stat is determined by how many pieces of the set are worn which means you could have three chests and one armor and four weapons, for instance. but only the one that has the highest bonus will be of benefit to you.
They generally boost the primary stat of a piece, however some also boost secondary ones also. Defence bonuses boost three positional defence values and two types of defenses. For instance a five-piece Hundings Rage set will give you a total of 400 defense in your gear. This is a huge increase in your gear, specifically as a melee character.
This is a very useful feature, and it appears to be among the most well-known features in the game. At present, only a handful of gear sets have set bonuses, and they're only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to rise once the update goes live.
